There are three commonly used water-based fire extinguishers:

1. Water
Fire Extinguisher. It refers to a fire extinguisher whose cylinder is filled with clean water and uses carbon dioxide or nitrogen as the driving gas. There are generally two specifications: 6L and 9L. The fire extinguisher containers contain 6L and 9L of water respectively.
2. Water-based foam fire extinguisher. Aqueous film-forming foam fire extinguishing agents (AFFF) are generally used and fire extinguishers use nitrogen as the driving gas. Aqueous film-forming foam fire extinguishing agent can quickly form a layer of water film on the surface of hydrocarbon substances that can inhibit its evaporation. It relies on the dual effects of foam and water film to quickly and effectively extinguish fires. It is an updated product of chemical foam fire extinguishers.
3. Water-based water mist fire extinguisher. It is a high-tech, environmentally friendly fire extinguisher that improves the fire extinguishing efficiency by adding a small amount of organic or inorganic substances to the water to improve the fluidity, dispersion, wetting and adhesion properties of the water. Water-based water mist fire extinguishers have the advantages of being green and environmentally friendly (the agent is 100% biodegradable after fire extinguishing and will not cause pollution to surrounding equipment and space), highly efficient flame retardant, strong resistance to re-ignition, fast fire extinguishing speed, and strong permeability.
